Our walk started at the Louvre but we were soon crossing the river.
César and Joseph play along the
Berges de Seine
. When Antoinette and I lived in Paris before the turn of the century, the Berges were still used to off-load freight.
A little closer to the Eiffel Tower than
our usual perspective
.
